Printed Materials

When you want to hold it in your hand

Much of my time at Springboard Collaborative required designing for print. From 1,000+ page lesson plans to booths for conferences, I did it all!

Lesson Plans

The bulk of my printed work were the lesson plans handed to hundreds of teachers nationwide. The lessons spanned four grades, and 6 components, and they were paired with student resource books as well as teacher resource books to guide educators and children alike through the curriculum.

This process required creating a design system for the lesson plans that closely matched the brand, creating templates for the curriculum overview, component guide, lesson guide, summary and goals of the week, the lessons, and standardized coversheets.

Conference Booths

Springboard was attending an increasing amount of conferences in order to increase brand awareness, land contracts, and connect with potential donors.

These designs were provided in order to support and brighten up their presence at conferences.

Assorted Materials

Half of the total projects at Springboard were printed. Many were print materials that also required grayscale printing at schools, meaning that high contrast was often a necessity. Utilizing AAA accessibility standards enable digital designs to need minimal adjustments for grayscale printing.

Other printed projects included business plans and action plans for internal staff and donors.
